Design approach

The hero section pairs a close-up, high-resolution photo of architectural shingles with a bold navy overlay panel that puts the headline front and center. This layout does two things at once: it immediately signals “roofing” through the imagery, and it gives the headline enough contrast to be read in under two seconds — which is all you get before a visitor decides to stay or leave.

Below the headline, a dual-CTA pattern gives visitors two entry points. The primary red “Discover More” button draws the eye for anyone still browsing. Right next to it, the secondary “Get a Free Estimate Now!” link catches visitors who already know what they want. This layered approach avoids the common mistake of burying the offer below the fold and gives both warm and hot prospects an immediate next step.

Trust and credibility

Directly beneath the hero, a partner trust strip featuring Carlisle and other recognized brands reinforces that Apex is backed by industry-leading suppliers. For roofing, where homeowners can’t easily judge material quality themselves, manufacturer logos act as a shorthand for “this company uses proven materials.”

The “Built to Last Since 1986” tagline embedded in the hero also serves as a subtle credibility marker — longevity signals stability in an industry where fly-by-night contractors are a real concern for homeowners.

Site architecture

The navigation is clean and intentional: Home, About Us, Services, Projects, Contact. Services uses a dropdown so each roofing type (residential, commercial, repair, replacement) can have its own dedicated page — which is critical for local SEO because each page targets a distinct search intent.

The Projects link gives prospects visual proof of completed work. For roofing companies, before-and-after photography on a dedicated projects page can be one of the most persuasive assets on the entire site.

Mobile experience

The mobile layout adapts cleanly: the hero headline and CTA stack vertically, the shingle photography still fills the viewport, and the free-estimate link remains visible without scrolling. The responsive nav collapses into a hamburger menu while keeping the brand logo prominent — so mobile visitors immediately know they’re on a professional site, not a template.

Every element on the page points toward one action: requesting a free estimate. The hero CTA, the supporting text, the trust logos, and the clean navigation all reduce friction between “I need a roofer” and “I’m reaching out.” There’s no guessing what Apex does, who they serve, or how to contact them — and that clarity is what turns traffic into leads.
